I’m not sure how a product like this could get all the way to production without ever being tested, but apparently this did. It looks nice and fits both the handlebar and GPS nicely, but falls apart if put into use. The lower part of the bracket clamps onto the bike/motorcycle handlebars as advertised, and provides a slide-on track that ought to lock the upper part into place. The upper part snaps onto the GPS’s back with a satisfying click, but it just sits on the lower unit’s slide-on track. That’s it. No locking tab, no set screw, no retaining mechanism of any kind. Try to ride, and the first bump will send the GPS unit flying off the mount. At first I thought I was just missing a set screw or some other part, but there aren’t even holes, or even a place to secure the unit using wire ties or a velcro strap. Without heavy modification, this unit is useless, and looks like the mfr never actually tried to test it.
